Hi Ho, Hi Ho...

Back to the gym I go.

I've been slacking folks. Really slacking. I was doing so well with running about 4 times a week at the gym and doing weights. I'm not sure what happened. But don't you worry- I'm back in the game.

P.S. Does anyone else prefer running on a treadmill as opposed to outside? I think I'm the only one.

Here's what I hate about running outside:

1. Its about 100 times harder.

2. The weather isn't always ideal.

3. You feel like everyone is staring at you.

4. Its a lot harder on your joints.

5. You can't track distance, calories, incline etc as easily.

6. You can't watch T.V. to distract yourself. (My gym has a T.V. on every machine.)

7. It sucks.

Who's with me? No one? Ok, cool.

I feel like the movement of the treadmill belt kind of propels you forward. It makes it a lot easier, for me at least. I'm with you 100%. There are days that I would rather run outside because it's so beautiful and crisp and if I can find a good trail with nice scenery I prefer that over indoor any day. But that only happens for like 3 weeks in the fall. So yeah, indoor is better.

Hahaha! you are funny. I cannot agree with you. I would much rather be outside if I had to run any longer than 10 min 15 would be pushing it. B O R I N G :-)

You should definitely move back to Bakersfield. There's no snow here;)

I love running on a treadmill. Even in Hawaii I would usually run on the treadmill. I think that the time goes by faster, I play games trying to sprint for a minute and then slow it down. Plus the tv and music helps.
